Accessibility

Standards

We have attempted to follow relevant standards and good practice for accessibility and usability while developing the Adpro Securities website, including the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

We have also tested the site extensively in a wide range of browsers and settings, to ensure that the site functionality is available to as many users as possible.

Design decisions

Several design decisions have been made to improve accessibility of the site, and hopefully your experience of it. You will be able to use your browser’s own controls to customise your experience of the site.

Text size

All text on the site is easily resizable using your web browser’s own controls. Additionally, the body text is set to be relative to your browser’s default text size, to increase the chance that it will be comfortably readable. In the majority of places, the use of images to display text has been avoided.

Flexible layout

The layout of the site is designed to make best use of the available browser window. You should be able to use the site at any screen resolution and browser window size without problems.

The layout has been constructed with Cascading Style Sheets to give best results in a wide range of browsing situations. This means that on some older graphical browsers (such as Internet Explorer 4 and Netscape Navigator 4) the layout is greatly simplified; however all content should remain available in any browser.

Comments and complaints

While we have tried to make the site as accessible as possible in as many situations as possible, we recognise that some problems may remain. Additionally, the size of the site means that some page content may not be as accessible as it could be.

If you feel that the accessibility of a page is not as high as it could be, please get in touch with us by using the contact link at the top of the page.
